Keep going.
Everyday

Keep going.

I’ve gotta be honest. This week I was procrastinating so hard on writing my Monday Mindfulness post. The truth is, I don’t have all the answers. I read all the time so I can learn as much as possible, because I know I’m a work in progress. I get a lot of inspiration, and I grow, but I falter, too.

Some mornings I can set positive intentions and then bask in the fruits of my labor all day long. And then there are other days like today where I feel like I’m off track.

I’ll just sit for hours, trying to enjoy the luxury of it while regretting that it won’t last. I’ll let my mind run in circles about that thing I have no control over but can’t let go of. I don’t want to leave the house. I don’t want to initiate conversations. I just want to turn in on myself like a turtle in its shell.

So, no I don’t always have the best advice for moving forward. And no I can’t always bring myself to meditate or find some other mindful solution.

I’m human.

And this is also worth talking about. It’s important to remember that mindfulness is a practice,  perfection is a myth, and failure isn’t fatal.

So I dedicate this post to everyone who fails but doesn’t give up.
